No call the police, you will probably die if you don't. Lock all your windows and doors and hide in under the bed until the SAS arrive.

Since it is their own garden, except otherwise the chickens are distubing you or they are infected with pademic influenza (bird flu), which the health people sayt it affects the human system as the case may be, i see no reason for calling environmental health. But if you have seen anything wrong as regard keeping chickens in their garden, i suggest you have a dialog with them and let them know your mind and your aim.

Chickens eat bugs and keep the garden fertalized & healthy... If they are well maintained, clean and healthy animals... Leave them alone!

How do you know they don't have permits?

Hey... For the very clever girl at the top, Can I call Robin? because I agree with you completely!

I fail to see why. People have kept hens for years and they give much better eggs than those you buy in a supermarket.Live and Let Live!!!

PS I have three chickens in my garden!

Most towns and cities do not allow farm animals in the city, just for that reason that it isn't really safe and they can be a nuisance to the neighbors. If you live outside of the city limits, then there isn't much they can do.

What's wrong with keeping chickens? As long as they get plenty of fresh food to eat, and lay beautiful eggs (perhaps your neighbour will give you some spare ones?)

What difference does it make you you if your neighbor keeps chickens in their garden?

They do an excellent job of fertilizing the soil as well as aerating it with their scratching, plus they do a good job of eating unwanted bugs and give us fresh eggs in the bargain.

Might I suggest that you.

1 Mind your own business.

and

2 Consider getting your own chickens.

They aren't supposed to keep chickens or livestock in the city limits.

Don't you have anything better to do than mind your neighbors business? The area under your stove probably has more environmental problems than your neighbors yard.
