Good for you first off!!!! I tell you like I tell my friends and family. There are only a few truly important things in life. 2 of those are to love and to be loved. Life is very short. You may not think so right now because these are the toughest years of your life. BUT....Its too short to be alone. To have a companion is the best thing in the world. No one!!!!!! I mean NO ONE is supposed to be lonely.
After saying that, don't rush into a relationship. The happiest relationships begin with a foundation and that foundation is friendship. So get out there and start hanging out be best friends and go from there.

You could hang aroung together just like friends but then when you've got the perfect moment(like when she's in a good mood and you're in a good mood) you can tell her that you've got feelings for her and ask her if she feels the same p.s if she is shy like you she'll tell you the truth

I feel that there is no need to be shy if you both like each other but since your the man you should ask her out i'm sure she would go for it and do sweet things for her like cards, flowers, love notes, candy ect. You will really get to her heart.......just try it good luck
