My two friends were complaining about having their period. They also were saying it's not fair that I don't get mine during gymnastics and swimming season.
This guy turns and goes" I wish I could get my period, girls are so lucky"
Why did he say that?? Why would someone want to get their period??
(we are all 16)
What I mean is why would a guy want to get his period??

Sigmund Freud saw the envy that girls had towards the freedom men enjoyed. Today, women enjoy many more freedoms of expression than men, so he probably wants the freedom to dress the way he wants. Since he cannot have that freedom, he now envies girls just because they are girls.

There is nothing left that is masculine, but there is a lot that is feminine. The truth is that we define sexuality by anything but our physical parts and that is unfortunate.

Did you know that pink was a masculine colour through the eighteen hundreds and light blue a girl's colour? Pirates wore ruffled shirts while killing people and stealing everything. Men and women wore heels through the eighteen hundreds equally as heels were unisex.

Men are told how to behave and what is manly. The problem is that what is manly has been forced by society. Men are not really as macho as they sometimes appear on the outside.

He probably would love to wear a skirt or dress or even just polish his toenails, but society tells him that he is not allowed to. Look at my link in my source list for more information.

Take care,
Troy

Maybe he wants an excuse to wag off school or sports. I do know some men who are jealous of periods , I suppose because women always know if their kids are their own.
