this is a warm drink? well, i still hope you enjoy it:

INGREDIENTS

* 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3/4 cup white sugar
* 1 pinch salt
* 1/3 cup boiling water
* 3 1/2 cups milk
* 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup half-and-half cream

DIRECTIONS

1. Combine the cocoa, sugar and pinch of salt in a saucepan. Blend in the boiling water. Bring this mixture to an easy boil while you stir. Simmer and stir for about 2 minutes. Watch that it doesn't scorch. Stir in 3 1/2 cups of milk and heat until very hot, but do not boil! Remove from heat and add vanilla. Divide between 4 mugs. Add the cream to the mugs of cocoa to cool it to drinking temperature.

Hot milk punch: warm milk, 1 drop of vanilla for every 8 oz cup, dash of nutmeg (adults can add 1 oz rum or brandy or bourbon, but it tastes fine without)

Good Earth original tea is sweet & spicy

Hot chocolate swirled with a peppermint stick

just your average hot chocolate is nice for sure but why not add a litte chilli powder for extra warming magic? or a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg? alternatively, a wondeful drink i discovered in belgium at christmas - heat up some apple juice add warming, wintry spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg etc. and serve hot - sweet and tasty, perfect for those long, cold nights.

happy tasting x
