I do, and I don't believe a word of it, and by the time it all happens as and if, I'll be dead anyway, so I really couldn't care less about it!

Yes, I agree totally. If you think GW is a hoax, do your own research? And you can start your research by actually reading the IPCC report.
I get so weary of reading all the BS written by GW skeptics. Let's see. On one side we have an overwhelmingly huge majority of world scientists agreeing that GW is real and caused by man with a greater than 90% certainty. On the other side we have a handful of scientists, most of them with conflict of interest due to receiving oil company funding.
The question is huge. If what the IPCC report s claims is true, it literally means the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. And we can do something to ameliorate the effects. But, no, people here would rather sit on their duffs and spout denial. You would think that for a question as huge as that it would be worth doing a little reading of the report, right?
You want evidence? Here's your evidence - read the last report. It was convincing enough. Oh, what's that you say? You don't understand it? Well then keep your friggin mouth shut and let the people that do understand the science figure it out for you.
The new IPCC report is out and soon you'll be able to read that too. Will you or anyone here do that? I doubt it. It's so much easier to just say I don't believe it. If you haven't read the report and you don't understand what went into the making of that report, how can you possibly think you're qualified to open your mouth about it?

This is provably real.
To the people who say "solar variation" or "volcanoes". It's not that. The IPCC report analyzed those things and many others. That analysis is not their opinion, it's straightforward calculations based on peer reviewed data. And they say the major problem is us. The full IPCC report will be 1600 pages long. It has huge amounts of data and has received the most peer review of any scientific document in history. It's a unanimous report of hundreds of scientists from countries all around the world, from countries with very different political concerns. Science does not get any more solid than this.
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late. The science is clear. The global warming debate is over."
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, California
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
Senator John McCain, R-Arizona
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush
Very gradually coastal cities will start to flood, first in storms and then just all the time. Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns will severely damage agriculture. Rich countries will be able to cope, but it will cost them huge sums of money and lower their standard of living. In poor countries people will die of starvation.
It's a disaster in very slow motion. The worst disaster in human history. It will take another 20-50 years for the worst effects to appear, but if we are going to reduce those, we need to start now.
Denying it is like denying we went to the moon.
Oh, conspiracy theorists do that here too.

It's your opinion that it's a hoax (along with several other folks).
But there are many to believe otherwise, as you know.
I don't understand why there is so much debate over the issue of "Global Warming". We should all focus on how filthy earth has become from our pollution and take action to reverse that damage.
Seems like people are just arguing about GW and forgetting the other issues of environmental damage that we all directly caused.
Just some questions... how the heck would I do my own research? I got bills to pay... when would I do it?
I just see the pollution in the air, water and soil that's enough to convince me we have big problems.
Isn't that enough to motivate people to change their bad habits?
I for one would like to experience clean fresh air and pure water in my lifetime.
That's my opinion.

Well, about 30 years ago I took my family on vacation to the Glacier National Park on the Montana/Canada border. They had glaciers then. Have a look at recent pictures and take your vacation somewhere else. On the other hand, it is really easy to jump to conclusions and I, personally, take no responsibility for the last ice age or the disappearance of dinosaurs. Al Gore is a politician, if I remember. Let us move carefully, friends, and not let our decisions be made for us by television.

Yes, thousands of scientists have gotten together in their secret volcano laboratory and come up with this brilliant plan to fool everyone into not driving as much and thinking that their big trucks and SuV's are harmful to the environment because they are poor and they can't afford to drive hummers. So they planned and schemed, and thought, Oh this is brilliant! We will make them think they are bad, so they will sell us their HUMMERS at a reduced price ....MUHHAHAHAHAHA.....hahahahah..
DARN THOSE BRILLIANT SCIENTISTS FOR COMING UP WITH THE GLOBAL WARMING SCHEME!!! Now our big trucks and SUVS are NOT AS COOL as they used to be!
I can't believe people still are in denial. Wake Up!
read this you deniers:

The (especially) American people seem ripe for being duped by junk science. The contention is man (Americans) is belching so much car exhaust into the atmosphere that the planet is warming up and it will cause another ice age. Or some such crap.
If mans cars are affecting the climate, what affected it before the car. Just plain junk science.
If you want to have some fun, read about DDT, why it was banned and the cost in human lives because of the ban. More junk science.
This constant crying "WOLF" is going to bite us in the posterior. Sooner or later the people are going to quit listening to the "scientists" seeking their 15 minutes of fame and it will spell the end of civilization as we know it.
It makes me glad I'm getting old. Maybe I will die before I fart again and cause the moon to crash into the Earth.

I could go on FOREVER, backing this guy, but no one will bother reading any of it, so I won't. I just wanted to put my two cents in, agreeing 100% that yes, "global warming", along with many, many other things, is indeed a hoax.

Do you have any evidence to support your claim? I sure hope so, because those who say global warming is a real phenomenon have MOUNTAINS of evidence on their side.
I would suggest not having this argument unless you have evidence which refutes what the other side is saying....
Best of luck!

Do your own research, huh. And you have evidence proving that thousands of scientists from over a hundred thirty countries are wrong in their assessment, published just last week? Sure, sure you do. Riiiiiiight! Say, what's that you been smokin' dude?
