God did not and does not cause the weather. The extreme weather conditions are being caused by man, global warming.
Then you add the cold fronts and warm fronts colliding, you get a tornado.

I live 70 miles south from where the tornado hit and I think it's very sad that 20 people have died and many more injured or lost their homes. It's not a laughing matter. As the bible says "unforeseen occurrences befall us all" Ecc. 9:11

We can see how selfish people have become, that a football game is more important than the welfare of our fellow human beings.

Random chance............

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12........I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.  For man also does not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly.

We as believers will go through tough times in life and that's ok because our Lord went through something much more terrible for us. Christ died on the cross for our sins. No weapon formed against you will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17) He was resurrected and He lives. Therefore tornados, hurricanes, etc. may happen but we, His people, will live with Him for eternity, regardless.

the world is amazing enough to see an intelligent design AND a broken design

we live in the echo of the oriignal shout that created the world as well as the shock waves of the sin that man fell from grace

tornados and these destructive things are to a large extent as result of a sin cursed broken creation because of the sin of man They also can be a wonderful opportunity to reach out and help hurting people, find them shelter and help

Random chance. God was too busy making sure the Colts would win the Super Bowl to worry about the weather.
