This is a very nice question.
I am a Muslim and I believe there is ONLY ONE GOD
that God is whom I worship and nothing else
where can I go wrong?. I doubt that this God if he even had a son will punish me for not believing in his son. Because even if he did have a son, I am seeing the signs of God every where and not the son.
God bless

There is no such thing as a wrong spiritual path. We are all here to find the path that our creator has chosen for us individually. Each of us has a different purpose. Love will always be stronger than hate. We will all have our own consequences for our own actions individually. People today think more about "religion" rather than "spirituality". We are spiritual beings who are driven by our emotions and unfortunately "anger" in ourselves create "RELIGIOUS" debates. Who is right and who is wrong is not important. What are we all doing to end all the bad in the world? Anyone can be a part of a certain religion but it takes much discipline to be spiritually pure.

When I die, if I find out ANYTHING, then I'll know that, at the very least, the atheists were wrong and I was on the right track....albeit maybe taking the local or scenic routes instead of the express.

No doubt, there are so many different religions & beliefs. There is one faith that is different from all the rest, that is one thing that makes it convincingly true to me, that it is so unique. It's this, all religions/beliefs say we have to work to get to God, that if we try hard enough, that if we are good enough, do enough works etc. The one exception is the faith that says Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross so that we can be forgiven & have a relationship with Him. Then yes, we will want to do good works , but it will be BECAUSE we have a relationship with God.

If when you die and find out that you were wrong this means firstly that you have not simply ceased to be,therefore there is an afterlife and eternity involved, this could only mean that God is real and all that was revealed is also real, including Jesus Christ and salvation,so only this could be the real truth after all,so I guess what I am trying to say is that Jesus really is the way,the life and the truth, and we who believe this to be so cannot therefore be wrong.

theres only one thing that you must put in your mind:
that did you really believe in your religion, and are you convinced about what it say.
to judge that you must consider your self not related to your religion, and you must read about other religion to know where are you standing, and is this the correct one or not.
if you find that you find what you are looking for in your sarching then you will be a believer because you know why you are connected to this religion or that, and you will be satisfied about your religion, not because you find your family Christian , Muslim ,or what ever ,but because you find the cure for all of your answer.
so when you do that you will not be worry about knowing if your religion is correct or not, but instead you will try to improve your relation with your god.
best luck

No one knows if they are right or wrong, they think they know. I feel it in my heart that god is real and have had to many experiences not to believe. You should know in your heart not your head. However, I don't tell anyone they are wrong. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion and I am fine with that. In fact, I can't stand people who think their opinion should be forced on everyone else.

If I'm right, no need to feel bad. If I'm wrong, according to others, I won't feel anything. It's a win-win for me.

I don't think it really matters as long as your religion encourages good morals and principles and you lived your life respecting both yourself and others, It will have been worth it.
