Listening 2a conference on speakerfone we need 2prevent them hearing us but the mute button also mutes them!?

What can I do? Is there a speakerphone that has this capability?

The Mute feature is a feature on YOUR phone only.
Think about it, if you mute the conferees you might as well hang up as you cannot hear them. Mute buttons on phones are not designed to operate this way and I suspect your phone is defective. Try substituting another phone first.

I dont think if you mute they will also be muted... Because we are regularly using mute in conference calls.

I feel like you need to change the phone.In market u will get lot of new phones .. the one we are using that have this facility is frm NORTEL.. check it out !@!
