If Jesus was God incarnate, and God left Jesus's body when he died, then what was left to resurrect? Did Jesus have a soul separate from that of God?

And if God didn't leave Jesus's body the moment he expired, did anything die on the cross? And if something (God or man) did die on the cross, who exactlyl resurrected Jesus?

The most beautiful thing about the death and Ressurection of Christ for me at least, is that it shows that Death has no power over God, and by extention, those God chooses to save from death.

Jesus is, and always will be, a paradox to HUMAN logic, because He was not limited by the rules of mortality that seem to govern our lives. Being both fully human and fully divine is a contradiction to mortal men, (which Jesus was) but not to God (which Jesus is, also.)

By raising Jesus in body and/or soul, God showed what He can and will do for us, those who He saves. (Which I believe to be all of us, not just the few fervent faithful.)

Technical questions and debates about the ressurection are interesting and will always be asked and answered, but we won't ever come to a satisfactory conclusion because a. we can't grasp it as well as God can, and b. it's not the main point anyway.

God already saved us all from our imperfection. Jesus was just the example and the messenger of that very fact, and nuts to those who think BEING a Christian is the point. Loving God and reveling in all His miracles is more the point from where I'm standing. God forgive me if I'm wrong.

Jesus does in fact, possess a human soul, along with his human body, and his divinity.

His dead flesh was transformed and resurrected, as his soul and divinity were eternally reunited with it.

Jesus most certainly died on the cross. He said so himself, when he commended his spirit into the hands of his Father.

The Holy Spirit resurrected Jesus, but technically, since God is one, Jesus rose again by his own power.

God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are two separate beings. That they are father and son is true. That they are united in purpose is true. That no one goes to the Father except by Jesus is also true. Jesus came to fulfill the will of the Father. Because of the great sacrifice that Jesus made, being the only perfect person to ever live on the earth, He gained all that the Father has.

If we believe on Jesus Christ and do all that He has commanded us to do, ie Love God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength and then love our neighbor as ourself then will we inherit the Kingdom of God. If we don't do these things we will go some other place not in the presence of God.

Jesus said, in my Father's house are many mansions. Which of these mansions we inherit is entirely based upon our faithfulness to God and Jesus Christ.

I would start off by learning more about the nature of God. and then you will find the answer for your self. A serious study of the Scriptures would help you to understand God, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Ghost.

The link in the sources will take you to a site that has the scripures online.

Jesus being resurrected is basically like putting money in the bank. It was the proof that everything Jesus told the disciples was true. It made valid everything He said.

Die,take all sin with you for human kind.Be reserected back in a different form. Jesus wasn't clean with all that sin he covered. So he was temp. separated from God. To be joined again ---clean.
He defeated the devil. Jesus is God's son. So, he had the power.
TOTALLY AWSOME!

Jesus was not God incarnate. He is the Son of God--not God. John 3:17 says that God sent his Son to earth, not himself.
