i remember hearing about a movie called "jesus camp" it was about training kids to be soldiers to christ. i have also heard about a video game called "left behind eternal forces" its about war and killing in the name of god. i have also read a website that says that the mormons worship a angel as a god. i have seen other websites that promote volence toward other christians and non christians. so i ask what are these about are these what christians should be doing or should some one stop this hatred before it gets out of hand?

to anyone who says i am spreading hate i am sorry if i come across as that but i dont hate christians just the sin of christianity.

christians hate everyone, not just non christians. its part of thier religion. the scare tactics are bullying threats. Ive seen websites that are skewed and biased, say things like christianity is dying, when it is not, christians are being persecuted, when they get special treatment in the US, call abortionists murderers while they send someones child off to war. I love how they call us non xians bullies, yet theyre the ones going door to door to evangelize. Oh for the record, non christian does NOT mean atheist!

You must be very careful about getting involved with these things like the so called "Jesus camps".
Your question is very logical and I'm glad to see that you have become aware of the counterfeit Christian movement.
Those people do not truely represent the Lord or truely do God's will but they instead represent themselves and only those who are naive enough to give them large sums of money.
Things like Christian metal music,Christian wrestling and so forth are not of God they are worldly things that wrongly uses Christianity as a cover up to decieve you.
If you have ever notice that John Hagee no longer preaches God's Word but instead he preaches criticism and his political views throughout his sermons and because he is tied in with TBN he also is a begger of money and a peddler who tries to con you into buying his books and DVD's by getting you to believe that he can help you get to Heaven if you buy all of his junk which is mostly about his political ambitions.
You don't need to buy John Hagee's books or buy a DVD to help you understand God and to know God and to get into Heaven.
All you need is an humble & hungry heart to know God and obey the Lord, serve the Lord to the best of your ability for all of the days given to you and you'll be just fine.
truthfully,it is not Christians,Mormons,J.W. or Muslims who will go to Heaven to be with the Lord but it will be those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, who has served the Lord honestly & truthfully even unto the end who will go to Heaven.
We shouldn't hate because if we hate then how can we forgive as Jesus has taught us to do and as God the Father has forgave us.
I truely don't hate anybody on YA but I really dislike some peoples' bad attitude that they express towards God,Jesus and God's Word and if I can't find forgiveness in my heart towards them then I am no better than they are.

Im an atheist: The Qua-ran is in no way a "hate-crammed e book" neither is Islam a "hate crammed" faith. have you ever study the Qua-ran (albeit a translation)? i don't be attentive to of any non secular texts that recommend hate. And yet it would be ridiculous to indicate that all and sundry wars, terrorist assaults, murders and so on. have been perpetrated solely via atheists. the issue is that the international is populated via folk, who're no longer, relatively very superb issues! i do no longer think that Muslims are answerable for each terrorist attack that has taken place ("the concerns" in Northern eire?). Is it universally conventional via non-Muslims that "the Muslims" are behaving some distance worse than the "Jews"? it is going to additionally be reported that it is the (nominally) Christian international places that have invaded the Muslim international places - i do no longer think of it has ever been heavily reported that Afghanistan Muslims or Iraqi Muslims have been making plans to invade Britain.

Christianity = Hate

Christians are not in the business of making killing people who do not believe.

I have seen, read, and watched a ton of Christian Religious material over the last 20 years, and in more earnest over the last 2 years since becoming Catholic.

In that time, I have not seen one word about hate for non-Christians, or any physical war or preparation for it.

Christianity is not a sin, but none of us Christians are perfect, and as in any group, you are going to find evil men twisting religion for their own gain.

Peace!

Sadly you are quite correct in your assertion. Many sites that claim to be Christian are very hateful. The truly sad part is that they really don't see it. I have always found that the more zealous any religious group is, the further from their own faith they become.

You are right. Also remember that the Bible says that there will be false prophets in the end. You have a responsibility to speak the truth. Hold on to what you have.

many fundamentalist sites spread ignorance and hate. Some tell how to build bombs to blow up abortions clinics, or how to disrupt the free speech of others. They are an arrogant bunch of misfits.

That is precisely why you need to study (not just read) God's Word.

As far as war, God has blessed many during war times and stated that His people would defeat the evil ones. God knows that we will have wars. God does not expect us to kill in vain, without purpose. And to know what is a lawful killing, you must study His Word. It's all in the first book, Genesis.

why do we need a warning? we should love god because of all the good things he's done, there should be no threat, a god that needs to threaten us with eternal torment is no god, but a great deciever.
