It is said that by May 2008, Americans must have a "national license", which has a digital picture of you and your finger print embedded into it, or we may not be able to board planes, open a bank account , or gain access to government buildings. I believe the bible speaks of a "mark". Could this be the begining?

Do not forget the beast of technology. Implanted in that national ID Card is an rfid chip. Tracking your every move. I know that some do not believe this! Yahoo! or Google it in a search. It is already been done without your knowledge. Ladies, have you bought any cosmetics lately? Gentlemen, Have you bought any tires lately? Look hard enough and long enough you will get past the capitalism part of it and find the controlling part of it.

Since giving a link on this particular subject could be considered spam by Yahoo! I will not give it. You must do the research yourself.

I study in the manuscripts. No, there is no mark like that.
The mark of the beast is IN your forehead, and what is in your forehead? your brain. If you are deceived and think that the Antichrist who comes first, is the true Christ, then you have the mark of the beast. It is really that simple. They could give you a national license, or tattoo 666 on you from head to toe, and that will not change what you believe. If you want to trace the mark of the beast back to its origin, you will find it in genesis when Cain was thrown out of the garden. He was given that mark. But why Cain? Because Cain was satans son. Yes, I know this is not normally taught, but it is cemented in fact in the original manuscripts.
If they insist you have a national id card, with your fingerprint on it, so get one. It doesn't matter. Look, if they really wanted to screw with you, they already have your social security number, which is enough in itself, because without it you can't get work, or open a bank account, either.

Sheeesh.............

Revelation was written 1900 years ago addressing several churches in Asia Minor, it referred to things going on in those churches at that time. The prophecies listed were supposed to happen then in just a few years, the beast was the Roman empire and the Anti Christ the Roman Emperor, even the number of the beast is a code for the Roman Emperor. None of it happened. All the prophecies failed to take place and people have been trying to fit them in to more current events ever since from the invasion of Europe by the Mongles, to the Black Death, the French Revolution, to World War II. It's a story, a myth, it didn't happen and it's not going to happen.

You got it, babe! In Europe, they have a chip that all pets and farm animals must have to identify them and give medical information and the like. It has been around for years. One day, a woman will give birth to a child at a hospital and in order to keep the child she must agree to the implant. The generation is here. Keep watching the signs but most important, keep reading your Bible. Remember there will be false prophets and teachers who will almost deceive the elite of God's chosen. Don't swallow everything you hear. Test it with the Bible and ask yourself, who is edified by what was just said? If the answer isn't FIRST God, watch out! NO MAN WILL GLORY IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD!

for the record, i am an ex christian, I used to believe this mark of the beast, and you can cite your bible and say stuff like well the bible said there will be people that turn away from God or whatever, the bible says a lot of things some of them are immoral, anyways, to get to my point, charles manson believed in revelations, and look how he turned out. For people that forgot who charles mansons was, read the book helter skelter.

This is done for security reasons. If you have no intention of criminal action you have nothing to fear.It is the will of God,Jehovah, Allah,Buddha,Abracadabra etc that evil deeds are prevented by all means. So if it should be a mark it is a Good Mark.

We are going to be with the Lord so let's not get too paranoid about license plates and the like. Let tomorrow take care of itself each day has enough trouble of it's own.

You have the republicans to thank for this one. They are the ones who proposed it and backed this measure. It is part of their anti-terrorism tactics so they say.

I don't believe in the mark of the beast and all that nonsense, but I do believe in the government trying to gain control of every aspect of our lives. And that, to me, is far scarier.
