That is super low!!! But you can't always go by just the total cholesterol. For example, I had really bad cholesterol, but then after changing my diet and exercising regularly, I had it checked again after 1 year...

PREVIOUS LEVELS:
------------------------
247 - Total Cholesterol
81 - Triglyceride
73 - HDL (Good Cholesterol)
157 - LDL (Bad Cholesterol)

CURRENT LEVELS:
------------------------
235 - Total Cholesterol
54 - Triglyceride
105 - HDL (Good Cholesterol)
120 - LDL (Bad Cholesterol)

My total cholesterol is high because my HDL is so high, which is good! HDL (good cholesterol) transports LDL (bad cholesterol) out of the system! I don't have to worry about my total cholestrol being over 200 because my HDL is so high. As long as all of your other numbers are in normal range, you don't need to worry. So I guess you really need to look at all the other numbers. Here are the typical "normal" ranges...

Total cholesterol at or below 200 mg/dL
Triglycerides at or below 150 mg/dL
HDL cholesterol at or above 60 mg/dL
LDL cholesterol at or near an optimal level of 100 to 129 mg/dL
