I've had a really big weekend, and had no free time, and last week of school was the most stressful ever. I was and am depressed for the whole week. I want some time off. Whenever I try to fake sick, my parents arent worry worts, so I can't stay home.. and I don't like the fake throwup metod. Nothing to do with throwup, because the last time I threw up was 6 years ago, and my parents will surely take me to the doctors. Any methods that'd ACTUALLY work?

Explain to your parents that you're feeling stressed out and that you need to take a day off of school for once. Hopefully they'll understand.

Of course, if your weekend was busy because of stuff that could have been put off or avoided, then they probably will tell you to go to school and in the future to plan ahead.

Why not try the truth? I mean that sincerely. Tell your parents how you feel emotionally and tell them you are dead-tired and need a break. If you are depressed, you have a temporary illness and you need some time to heal. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon. You may just be overly tired. You need some "down time" and a good rest.

We all have to learn to deal. Go to school! Next weekend you will think about over extending yourself and think ahead. You have to learn to be responsible and that isn't finding ways to get out of your responsibilities. As you get older you will realize how important this is.

Try telling them the truth; like you just shared with us. Sometimes parents are more understanding and forgiving when you just "level" with them. In other words: Be straight up and honest.

Well your parents are more strick then mine. I mean when I tell my mom I don't feel good she lets me stay home. But you could try and tell them that you are really depressed and if you can stay home.
