Do they have spelling bees in Israeli schools? I they do, do they say the vowel points when the student spells the word, or just the letters? Thanks in advance.

No, we don't have spelling bees in Israel.
The Hebrew spelling is much more phonetic than English and your chances to go wrong are much lower.

When we spell a word, we do not spell its vowel marks (nikkud).

No, there are no spelling bees in Israeli schools. The vowels are not spelled when spelling a word. It is only used for pronouncation.
