But why Lazurus, why not someonesle, is it because Lazurus was a freind of Christ?

To give Glory to God. to shown the existence of God.
Remember he was dead for four days surely only God could restore his life. To show the Resurrection of the body.

So that people would believe that when they die. They can be raised again. Also that was letting them know that He will return from the grave. He has the power to control life and death if we only have faith. To glorify God.
