.................Now that they have come to the realization that our Government is actively deporting & arresting illegals on a daily basis? Or do you feel they will just stick around for their hopes of "the American dream"? I mean eventually they will all get caught, its just going to take time.
Does anyone know an illegal who is actively planning an escape because they fear getting caught?

I posted this question because I do know of illegals who are returning to their country, because they fear the fines and penalties if they get caught. Any one else?

Some will leave, but most will stay. Just like your forefathers stayed, illegals will too. It worked for the Europeans, why not for the Hispanics. It's not a new issue. Immigration has been for years. back in the early 1900's Germans weren't wanted here, then it was the Italians that were discriminated against, then the Irish, Japanese, Pueto Rican, Cuban, etc. I am sure illegals know that they will get caught, but until then, they save their money, while paying taxes that they will never get back. I am sure that a lot of the economic problems would not be if they were able to obtain health insurance and legally pay taxes. Most of them want to pay taxes, they want the American dream as your ancestors did when they illegally and forcefully came here from over seas. Natives were never giving out immigration papers or visas.

All in all, no they are not going anywhere so learn to live with it, or get out.

As for the person that stated that Americans will move to Canada; please do, this country will be better off without people like you. The border is open, bye bye.

Some will flee but others or the same will come again ! The problem you Americans have is that you have a border with Latin America so there will be a never-ending source of illegal immigrants unless conditions improve in those countries. In Canada we don't have that problem. The problem we have is with American themselves crossing the border so they won't have to go to Irak. Also, in Canada we have medic care for everybody and a higher standard of living so latinos move to the States and Americans to Canada....

they will never leave! first of all they believe that this is their county. second our government is only deporting the ones that they want too. and third we have already giving them to many rights, they can get tax numbers a file taxes and have children here and claim them and get money through taxes. they can put their kids in school. they can claim welfare and if they are deported they will come right back. i had a friend that was deported, he met a friend in Juarez and they went to the border, claimed American citizens and with out even looking for identification the officer waved them through! that's the benefit of learning the English language.

Well I haven't seen any rushing back across the border. Arresting illegals would be very easy, ICE would go down to the welfare department where there lined up around the corner to get food stamps. We will rid are country of these thieves and law breakers soon. Stay on the ready. Wake up America, it will be soon very soon. B. Patrol

I certainly hope they are getting the message. No I don't know of any illegal aliens that are planning to get out if and when it gets worse. But then I'm sure there are people that do.I only wish the deportations were on a larger scale .But until we secure the border they will just come back.WE MUST secure our borders. Then deportation will really have an effect.
Yes illegal immigration can be stopped by sealing our borders and having absolute control over who comes in and out.

We can only hope!!

It is way beyond time that something is being done about the illegal immigration crisis in the US.

If they want to come to the US to get a better life, as many illegals claim they are doing, then all us Americans ask is that they learn to speak English, adapt to the American way of life, and become US Citizens!!

All we need to do to stop the flow of illegals is to penalize the businesses hiring them!!!
