(Hint: Next time, sprinkle flour lightly over the onion before submerging in the batter. This will help to keep the batter sticking to the slippery onion flesh)

This week is only 36 hours old so far, but yesterday I made a new loaf of bread with herbs I had on hand from my garden. Added some Parmesan cheese to the dough and had a nice cheesy-herby loaf for dinner last night.

One also, but I kind of veered off course and adapted it to my own taste in the end!! It was shepherds pie, and very nice it was too. Tonight I am having left overs!!

Well done for attempting the bloomin onion though, very brave!!
