Hey calm down you had a choice to watch the Superbowl or not. Let's keep it real, I know that you feel upset about Prince. His guitar was the same symbol that was on stage and the same symbol he used for years. Prince is a musician and he was invited to play in the Superbowl. It's called halftime. It was for entertainment not for you to take to Jesus.

This non believer was not offended. I simply did not watch him.
I suspect that the vast majority of "Generation Next" Christians
did enjoy his performance however.
Perhaps, as a Christian advised to me,you & family should consider limiting your entertainment to only reading your bible.
The Superbowl for me was the game, not the halftime, and the game was great.

I'm in no way condoning what Prince does. But, do you watch any movies that contain ANY profanity, lewd behavior, etc. If you do, then don't abandon the whole Super Bowl because of something that you feel Prince did wrong. Think about it, he's not a Christian so we can't expect him or the people who control the Super Bowl to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner. We need to pray for them, witness to them, and lead by example like Dungy does. Praise God!

You should have stayed away from superbowl and been in the supernatural Word of GOD.
What about Janet Jacksons nipple slip. Wasnt that a revolting treat.
Nobody said how beautiful that was eh.

As a Christian, you shouldn't have even watched Prince, you should have turned off your television while he was on. If you had done any kind of research before you let your kids see it, you would have known what to expect from Prince. Don't you research what you let your kids see before they see it? Have you seen the cartoons they watch? As a Christian, you shouldn't even own a television in today's media-oriented world.
As a Pagan, I loved Prince's performance.

you mean that shadow thing, oh well it didnt look like a guitar. I was with a bunch of people and we all started to laugh. (18 year olds do that). But I was not impressed with the quality and although I wouldnt get up in arms I wasnt impressed with the shadow stunt.

He didn't have a "wardrobe malfunction" did he? What the hell were you doing watching the pagan rite of football anyway? A ritual where several men try to secure a symbolic egg and deliver it home while "virgins" encourage them from the sidelines. It all sounds rather un-christian to begin with.

I didn't think anything of the way his guitar looked....but I guess you Christians just can't be happy with anything....I have a suggestion...how about you gouge out your eyes and your kids eyes as well...thats the only think thats gonna protect you. You can't possibly expect to go through life not seeing something you disagree with.
