Just let the cat outside and it'll pick it's instincts up. Our cats go outside and they use the restroom out there. Saves us on cat liter.

Keep moving the litter tray nearer and nearer to the door, then put it outside. Make sure the cat has access to the litter tray out side when it needs it. If you can put a small area in your garden with soft sand or soil, cats love to bury their pooh. I have two cats and it took less then a week to do this, now they go outside and use the same area in rain or snow!!! They are clean animals and prefer to have an area away from where the live. One of my cats made a dash for freedom! but came back hours later when he was hungry!

I have two suggestions.

One: Train you cat to use the toilet. You can buy kits and find suggestions on how to do this.

Two: Clean the litter box before it gets stinky. I cleaned my cat's litter box a couple of times a day. There are newer litters that claim to eliminate stink in the litter box, you could try one of these.

An inside cat is much safer, will live longer and will be healthier than an outdoor cat. So it would be better to buy an electronic litterbox that will scoop as soon as it has done its business into a covered box that will contain the smell.
Also keep baking soda in it to absorb the smell better.
Please do not kick the cat out, the cat would be better off giving away to someone that would care for it better.

Yes people do love it when other people cats are allowed to roam free and crap in peoples yards - that's great !!! as long as YOUR not inconvenienced with a stinky litter box... gheeesh have some respect for your neighbours. People have to clean up after their dogs. Why should cats be different?

Just make a hole in ts litter box. Put it outside, & keep the door open, or put the litter box on the toilet.

Everytime it goes in the box, just kill it. Hopefully by the 9th time it'll know better.
