Can anyone give me some ideas. I want to make my partner a nice, romantic meal for Valentine's Day, something different, something special. I need a starter, main course & dessert. I need something that's not too expensive & not too difficult to make.

Asparagus is not only valued for its erotic shape, but is also widely acknowledged as an aphrodisiac, and so it is a good choice for inclusion somewhere in a meal for a lover.

Followed by a steak trimmed to the shape of a heart may do the trick and convey the message. But make sure the meal does not get too heavy because that would bring on a feeling of being satiated and so less inclined for the lure of romance afterwards. For this reason, don’t overdo the bread and butter either. Another suggestion could be a mousse, perhaps made from fish and avocados - both reputed to increase libido. This is a dish which one lover can feed to the other. And why not in bed?

For desert you can concentrate on fruit and nuts. A banana? Rich in vitamins and reputed to increase sex hormones. Studies show that it is probably the enzymes in this fruit which enhance male performance. The fig is accepted as the most erotic fruit of all. But, remember, the ancient Greeks saw it also as a sacred food associated with love and fertility.
So there you have it, a meal for when you have designs on another. Begin with asparagus or oysters, then a more leisurely pace through the main course, ending with a feast of pine nuts, figs and strawberries, washed down with copious drafts of champagne. And don’t forget the chocolates. Who knows which of these will work? But the meal will be a memorable experience, and whatever happens it should be fun to try.

Have a good valentines day !!!

Understand the many premises behind The Paleo Diet and that will help guide you toward living a complete Paleo Diet lifestyle. Learn here https://tr.im/paleoguide

For breakfast, make an easy omelet. Peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli in olive oil; add omega-3-enriched or free-range eggs and diced turkey or chicken breast.

Paleo lunches are easy. At the beginning of the week, make a huge salad with anything you like. A good starting point can be mixed greens, spinach, radishes, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, avocadoes, walnuts, almonds and sliced apples or pears.

For dinner, try spaghetti squash as a substitute for any pasta recipe. Top with pesto, marinara and meatballs. Roasted beets and their greens make a great side dish for pork.

Firstly are you either of you vegitarians?

If not do you like lamb?

If so for your main you could do Jamie Olivers 'braised five hour lamb with wine, veg and all that' from his The Return of the Naked Chef book page 174.
It's brillant and really easy to do, tastes great!

And because you need to prepare it early and leave to cook for 5 hours, you will have plenty of time to prepare and make your starter and dessert.

OK i got this one:

Starter:

Fried zuccini wheels with a side of marinara sauce for dipping, very good, very easy to make.

Main course:

Chicken Marsala with a side of linguini or penne ala vodka

Dessert part 1:

Tira Misu, however its spelled. But its really good, kind of a coffee/chocolate treat.

dessert part 2:

When he says he cant eat anymore, bring a bottle of whip cream out and go towards the bed room and ask if he's sure.

if you need a recipe for any of the above, let me know.

Hello... I'm not to sure about starters and mains but for dessert you could make a chocolate fondue. All you need is milk chocolate, white chocolate, strawberry's and marsh mellows, to add effect put the strawberry's and marsh mellows on skewers sticks! place the chocolate in little dishes and present nicely.... then enjoy !!!! x

For a starter, how about dipping fresh strawberries into melted chocolate. Follow that with cornish hens (roasted in the oven) and also oven roasted potato wedges. Dessert could be something with whipped cream or ice cream on the top. Maybe warm cherry pie.

Not sure about the first two courses, but you could buy some individual heart shaped moulds, or one large one and make a dessert, like a cheesecake, trifle with red jelly or just the red jelly with cream, decorated with grated white chocolate.

I'd be a dessert. You'll only have small servings of me. XD
