Yes, that's very true. White flour, white rice, regular pasta, regular bread, all candy, that's high in refined sugar. Your body will break these things down very quickly, your blood sugar will spike, then your body will say, "ok, I'm done, that was easy, ready for more". On the contrary, complex carbohydrates are harder for your body to break down. It will have to work for longer to do this, your blood sugar will elevate, but it won't spike, and a longer time will pass before you're hungry again. Same is true for protein.
Complex carbs are things like whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bread, brown rice, beans, etc. When you read ingredients on the labels be careful- a lot of things will list "wheat flour" as an ingredient so you will think you're getting the right thing. That is misleading, "wheat flour" is essentially white flour. You need the ingredient to read "whole wheat flour".
Hope this helps!

Definitely protein will make you feel full. Also drinking water will help too, after eating a healthy meal. I also heard mixing flax seed in meals also makes you feel full. You can purchase that at health food stores.

I think you have good hunger. You should eat sprouts(wheat, moong or some times horsegram and groungnut).
Proteins take 51/2 hrs to digest. Sprouts give natural vitamins and proteins.
You can go with meat also when tired of sprouts.
You should exercise regularly to digest sprouts.

Fat Free Microwave popcorn. You can eat a bag of it (if you could) and it's like nothing. Try eating a bag of FF popcorn and 2 glasses of water... there is no way you will still be hungry at all, in fact you may pop!

Protein stay with you longer than carbs complex or otherwise. I do low carb and it helps with not being hungry too.

I hate being hungry before lunch and am trying to lose weight. I spoke to my doctor and she recommended either jerky (YUK!) or yogurt. The yogurt alone didn't keep me feeling full, but when I added a handful of pecans with the yogurt for breakfast it keeps me feeling full and happy till lunch time. Good luck!

Try plain oatmeal mixed with peanut butter (just a little) and water. Those work really well.
