Having asthma myself, (and 2 cats), I don't find it a problem. As far as allergies go, you can go to your doctors office and recieve a shot periodically.

Hi Lisa... because everyone here is located from all over the world consider posting an ad through a free local online classified services. Be sure to ask for a small adoption fee (e.g. $15) to disuade people who are looking for a free pet to sell to research labs, use for dog bait training, snake food or worse mistreatment. Ask prospective adopters that you would like to conduct a home inspection monthly for 3 months to ensure the well-being of the cat as well. You can negotiate the adoption fee if you feel you have found a good home and refund the money after a few months.

Try the Cat Protection if the RSPCA are full, they have a website which is easily found by using google.
On the website they will tell you if they have a centre near you, if they don’t have one in your area trying ringing the closest one to you and explain the situation and ask if there are any independent cat charities in you are that might be able to help.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

People from all over the world come on here- I don't think it's the best place to search for an owner. You can try it, but I also suggest posting flyers with the cat's picture/information, and your contact information. Post them in local businesses if they let you, and in your children's schools. Please don't give this pet to a pound, he could be put to sleep if no one comes for him. And remember, make sure the home you give to him is loving and will take good care of him.
Good luck to you, your family, and your cat!

The evil s***s who dabble in this vile prepare will scour the internet and loose classified ads etc for pets that are not to any extent further wanted, knock on your door and seem only like you and that i ( regrettably, they have not were given the devils horns with a view to be talked about as evil!! ) and ' promise ' to grant your cats an outstanding, loving domicile. they'll take your cats to a barn someplace and enable the scuffling with dogs loose on them!!! Thats no longer fiction my chum, its truth! Please do no longer promote your cats on right here or everywhere else on the internet, positioned an ad on your interior of reach paper and shp domicile windows so as that whoever replies could have a house examine carried out through you - - that way you;ll comprehend the position they're going and may keep your eye on them!

PLEASE do not give your cat to someone on here!
If you get intouch with your local RSPCA (tel 0151 638 6318). They will take your cat into their cattery and advertise for an adoptive family.
The RSPCA thoroughly check everybody who wants to adopt and it is a way of ensuring your puss will go to a loving home where he will be cared for correctly.
Please.

Exactly. Everyone here is from all over the world so your best bet is your local newspaper or giving him to the pound. Good luck. Sorry to hear that you have to give him up.

Please be careful when giving away a free pet. Labs hire people to go out and get them and then use them for vivisection. The people who adopts look llike your grandma. Always get a vet reference.
