The only way to get a passport is to apply at your local post office. You can get all of the information that you need by going to the USPS website http://www.usps.gov/ that way you can print out the forms, etc... before going to the post office.

The only way is to go to your local post office and fill out an application. The only other expense other than the passport fee would be your passport photo which several places do for around $7-$8.
Since you don't need it to november you will have plenty of time.

Go to your local post office. You have to apply there and they can even take your picture for you. There is about a 2 month wait right now for your passports to get to you.
