yep just pack it really good in bubbl;e wrap so it does not breake. if you do not have bubb;e wrap you can use peanuts (unshelled) in the box . Same effect .

If it is a gift for someone I suggest you order online and get it delivered to Japan from within Japan. It will probably work out cheaper with postage etc.

If that is not an option, you will have to package it well - and mark it fragile, and pay more in postage. Use a speed service (courier or fast mail) because the longer its in the postal system the more chance it has of breaking
