I go for looks and personality of course. But here is the catch--some people that are very hott/beautiful, have horrible personalities, that make them ugly, and some people who are not so hott/beautiful, have wonderful personalities that make them attractive. There needs to be a happy medium. What good is a hott partner when they have the personality and intelligence of a wet mop??? (I always end up picking the guys who are jerks anyways, I am drawn to them, like flies to sh*t...go figure!)

Both. Because you have to be attracted to someone before you even start to get to know them better. Someone with great looks and an amazing personality that will sweep you off your feet. But, you could find a guy that's not that attractive but with a personality that will fulfill your heart and he'll look cute to you because of that personality he's has. I think that it sucks to find a good looking guy with a messed up personality. Because looks can be deceiving.

everyone judges a book by its cover, its hard for a lot of people to get past the outside. But knowing the personality, can make the most beautiful person ugly! It all comes down to the personality, that is what we get attached to, has to be. Well i hope so, because beauty can be taken away in a flash and I would like to think that my husband would still be here!

Looks, from movie star to street bum, will change with age, and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. And once they fade, if that was the only attraction, so will your feeling for the person.
Always go with personality. I've dated some really great women that didn't fill the pysical beauty bill, but in many ways were more beautiful inside.

if first we were strangers, its da looks dat attracts first then we get to noe the personality and decide if we shud continue further.. but if first we start of frenz (like classmates, colleagues etc) i guess personality plays a bigger part coz da attitude is there to be seen to all and we can be the best judge if we wanna pursue a relationship wit dat guy (or girl).. but its best if the guy (or girl) has the total package of looks, loving personality, charms, humour and manners..

Depends where you meet them. If on line it is personality and you have to hope they are not ugly. If in person looks play a very important role as you cant see personality across a crowded room.

I usually go for looks first. But I can honestly say, the only guy I've ever been in love with, I completely fell for his personality, cause I thought he was a total nerd at first.

I go for personality! If he/she is nice and treats u well, y should it matter about wat they look like? Why would u want to date a REALLY SEXY guy/girl that is a ***** when u can have a nice and sweet guy/girl? See my bf is ugly and i told him he was and it really doesnt bother him! He is really nice, and I dont have to be as afraid for him to cheat on me becauz some girl like ugly guys! That is just the way i c it!!
