lighter in colour, why has it done this? I have had 2 other tiny ones that have done the same but vanished when the scab fell off. (Ive never been sun burnt and always wear sun tan lotion).

Ive just had a look on the NHS website and it said this:
Moles can start to look different over time and sometimes respond to hormonal changes, such as during pregnancy, adolescence and the menopause. Some even disappear over time or fall off, often without you realising.
Im 5 months pregnant so its probably due to this, right?

The key signs when looking for skin cancer are to look for moles that have changed colour or size or changed shape etc (any kind of change in appearance). I recommend you go to the doctor and show him/her the mole you have plus the areas where the others disappeared from.
I had a mole which had changed shape so i had i cut off, it doesn't hurt, it only leaves a faint scar and its better to be safe than sorry right?

I had a mole that was annoying, it would get caught whenever I put clothes on or took them off. One day I noticed it looked different, maybe I caught it. It then got lighter in colour (and so did the surrounding area), until it eventually disappeared completely, leaving behind a white "halo" on my skin.
I went to my doctor, and he told me that my body had chosen to destroy this mole. It does this if the mole is damaged or seen as foreign. He said it was harmless, and the white colour was from the white cells that my body had sent to it.
However, I recommend you see your doctor. Any unusual mole or change to a mole should be checked out.

Regardless of whether you've never been burnt and always wear suntan lotion (actually, I hope it's sunblock) you'd be wise to get it checked out. When a mole scabs, that's not really a good thing. It indicates a change. The one I had removed (and a biopsy showed to be melanoma) was itchy, it cracked, bled, etc.

Picking at a mole can be dangerous or make it worse. I suggest seeing a doctor to have one removed the proper way.

Moles changing are signs of skin cancer. You need to get that checked.
