Anyone installed it who was using either the beta 2 or RC1 version, is there much of a difference? don't know when to upgrade!

I would wait until at least SP1 or SP2 even. I have a friend that bought Vista installed it but then had to go back to WinXP because not enough companies have drivers out for the new Vista to use with their products.
I would proceed with caution.

You might want to do an internet search on problems and issues.
Meanwhile if you want a reliable up to date operating system try UBUNTU. It's FREE!!!!
