If Bush ups and invades Iran, I can almost promise it. However, I think Bush will limit himself to airs trikes, special ops and destabilization operations against Iran. Rumsfeld screwed us out of actually invading Iran in the near future.
You may see the draft should China go after Taiwan. The US is bound to the defense of the island by law and treaty. Frankly, if the Chinese were better prepared, they would have invaded Taiwan the day after we invaded Iraq...but China can't take Taiwan now. Give it ten years and they have a real good chance of winning that war. So...maybe in ten years.
Right now it is highly doubtful. That was a political ploy (and a clever one...face it, it was clever) by the Dems.

I don't think the Draft will fly again........ the Last thing you need is a Military full of people that don't wanna be there. You'd have soo many people doing everything they can to get out of going.

No, the military wouldnt beable to properly function. there would be people not motivated and the pay for active duty members would be diffrent than the draftees that would create a problem and then u half to worry about people who want to get out and shoot themselves

Naw the Democrats had the draft for WW2, Korea and Vietnam they are trying to make up for all their past sins which will take about 100years. :-)
