Where I live there are quite a few place like this with various combinations, some have went out of business I am afraid. This is the third wedding I am organising for a daughter. From the wording of your question it appears both stationery, flowers and whatever else you do should come from the one place? I actually think it would deter people coming to your shop. If you could buy everything separately eg only the flowers from you it would attract more customers. Hopefully people would see something else you do and decide to order and you gave some sort of discount because two types of wedding necessities were being purchased. However, only on an odd occassion would a bride see all flowers for wedding, stationery and favours in the one shop that she really wanted. In the end you could actually loose out on an order. Also unless you have a thriving florist business which you may well have and know you can compete or undercut the online shops it would be difficult as the prices are sooooooo good. Don't mean to be so negative and wish you all the very best if you do decide to do this. Again may have misunderstood your question and it is not complusary to purchase all the lines you would do.

Having planned a wedding a couple of years ago I found that some places which perfomed multiple services, i.e. stationery, and flowers, and favours, etc, often were not able to match small companies who did only one of these things. If you are able to compete with other local services then you should be okay, but i found a bit of time on my part meant a cost saving overall. By doing this we saved a lot of money and were way way below the national average cost for a wedding.
That said there are people out willing to spend more and save on the hassle, but I think you would need to look into doing more than just flowers and stationery for this to be a good venture.

I'm planning a very small wedding because we looked into the big wedding thing and just found it all to be too much bother!! It would be good to have those things under one roof but then if people are doing it properly and want a big day they are likely to have a florist in mind, as well as a stationer and supplier of wedding favours so that they can choose the individual style, or go with a certain brand. Good luck in whatever you decide. If it was me, I would rather shop around and get everything individually.

Honestly, you pick out these things at such different times and they really have nothing to do with eachother. If my florist handedme wedding stationery information I would be like what??? They are just so far at opposite ends of the spectrum.
If you want to make contacts, I would hook up with a few venue sites. I know my site has information on a selected photographer, limo service, florist, make-up artist, DJ etc that they give to each bride in her package details, that would probably be the way to go instead of hooking up with a florist.

I Think that any bride would be please to find a place that would make her planning easier.
If you are looking at opening in your local area rather than on the web, then you should do some market research on the streets and see what kind of service brides are looking for.
Also, see what other companies provide and whether you can bring any new ideas to your products, Brides are always wanting new and interesting products that their friends wont have!

You still cant spell stationery. Someone did advise you in an earlier question you asked. If you want to be businesslike, and appear to be professional in what you want to do, better start with your spelling. Sorry.

yes i would consider it a bargain getting everything together, weddings are so expensive nowadays, so having them linked would be good
