I am a really shy person and therefore find it difficult to take the first step and talk to attactive girls. A very scary prospect lol. From a female perspective- do you tend to want to 'help' a shy guy out when he tries make a move on you (make things easy for him) or watch in amusement as he struggles to string a fumbled scentence together? =)
would you at least apprecaite the effort?

I am a shy girl, so I don't know if I can help you out much lol I think shy guys are cute, I would prefer one to a cocky guy any day. I think if you approach a girl and she is aware of you shyness, she would appreciate the attempt. I know I would! :) Some guys think we like the big confident guys, but I am really not into that at all.

Ya, sometimes I will help the guy out by starting a funny conversation about something that happened earlier or trying to ease to conversation. I think it's cute when guys are shy. I would totally appreciate the effort.

I am a cute blonde that thinks a shy guy is cute. I think that when a man has too much confidence he'll treat women like crap. If a girl is good then she will notice the shy guy to have better qualities.

Do some groundwork, like catching her eye, smiling whenever you see her, and maintaining eye contact when you speak to her.
Try and make the first time you ask her out something you are very comfortable doing/going (i.e. a particular coffee shop or whatever).
And yes, a girl that likes you, and is confident you like her (hence the groundwork), will ease the process of a first date along.

Well for start you can always go up to her and start a conversation n with her and get to know (if you don't already) but if you know her then just be your self for couple of days and try to get attention then when you think your ready practice in front of a mirror the day before you go to ask her out or just write a true letter to her telling how you feel and slip in her locker or give it to one of her friends too her or give it to her yourself it take stress off of you and it want hurt as bad as it could!!!!!

In America, hot girls tend to be total vacuous, self absorbed jerks. They will point and giggle at you.
I would try talking to the shy girls instead, they are much more interesting and nice, and if they don't look great they will when the get older.

i am very shy as it is so for me it is better when a guy has confidence because i then get more confident. although it is cute to see a guy trying to chat you up but how often do girls really fall for sweet guys, we are a strange race and always seem to end up wanting the w*****s. sorry

i would tend to help ...if a guy is too confident it puts me off a bit as he is used to chatting up women and probably had loads of one night stands

It can be hard cuz i'm shy to so me and a shy guy just don't end up saying much on a date(believe me, i tried and i just can't very well) so maybe you need someone who's outgoing!!!

i would help because the poor guy seems to struggle to say a whole sentence.if i like him,yes. if not,i'd say no and tell him to relax around attractive girls . he will hear a yes eventually.
