The Quran did not mention dinosaurs in person but mentioned that there were so many stories untold about creation we do not know about and prophets we have not heard of. The Quran states how the world was created; which scientists are beginning to discover now. Just one example

The writer did not know of them. Also, the writers of the commentaries and the associated Islamic law describe the world as consisting of Europe, Asia, and Africa, and make no mention of North and South America, either. They did not know of the New World, but if the writings had been divinely inspired it seems logical they would have been made aware of these things of which they had no personal knowledge, but no, so it makes one question the accuracy of the source.
