My boyfriend keeps having dreams that I am dying. One time I jumped off of a cliff.... the next I was running from someone and whoever I was running from shot me. The next I was kidnapped and was found dead. He is getting really upset that he is having those dreams but for some reason has been having them almost every night. My mom has been filling our heads with all the stuff thats on the news like girls being kiddnapped and people getting hurt and stuff like that and I know that might have an effect on his dreams....but why me? Its starting to scare me...any ideas on why he is having these "nightmares"

I think that he is afraid of losing you. the fact that he has told you these dreams means that he cares about you and your safety.
It probably isn't helping that your mother is telling him more things that are fueling this.
Tell your mother to stop doing it and that you don't like it.

When you see death in your dreams that means "the bad" of the person who dies is dying with that dream.

It sounds as if he feels helpless in trying to protect you from the bad in this world, and your mother is fueling this fear in him. If you fear you will be hurt, then you will be hurt. If you feel you are protected, then you are protected. He just loves you very much...it doesn't mean you are going to die, hon. there's the good news!

it sounds like they are anxiety dreams. it could mean he's worried or scared about losing something in real life. have him try to talk to you about his fears. if they don't go away have him talk to his doctor.

try and not let the dreams get to you. it is probably because he has thought alot about what your mom told him and so he has dreams about it. just try not to think about them.
