In Fallujah 36,000 of the city's 50,000 homes were destroyed, along with 60 schools and 65 mosques and shrines. Also destroyed were an uncounted (because we only count our own) ammounto of innocent men women and children who WERE NOT hiding behind any insurgents, they were trapped in the city as US troops bombed and shot them.
no excuse. I am not spitting on the troops at all, I am saying a very simple thing you don't understand...
Should have never been there pal... we broke it we need to fix it WRONG dumbo, we shouldn't break it MORE.
Get the Troops OUT NOW, bring them home, have a parade, call it Vietnam Pt. 2 rather than the fall of Rome dig?
thought so.

And I respectfully say if you kill children as young as 10 then you are an animal.

I'm with you on bringing them home with a parade, although I think the bombing was an attempt to stop the even greater number of killings by insurgants.
However, we got out Saddam who was paying suicide bombers' surviving family to encourage them, and sure seemed to want us to believe he had WMD. Then we had to stay to try to give them a chance to form a government.
To the extent it was imposed on a social structure and couldn't survive, however, I don't see much point in our staying to referree a civil war. Last I heard, their President said they don't need any more US troops. Great. We promised we'd leave, and I think we should.

I respectfully say that because you have never served in the military let alone in a combat zone you have no idea what you are talking about.
Over there is is not uncommon for very young boys to carry rifles and fight, children as young as 10. If they are going to put themselves in that position than it is unfortunate but US troops must defend themselves.
Also the Islamic extremists who are fighting against the elected government in Iraq are using women and children as human shields to make it more difficult for our troops to fight, it is also a means of generating public support. Nothing gets people talking like pictures of dead children on the evening news.
Our troops are in an extremely difficult position, they are being asked to do a job which they are not trained for, to police a nation. What is called for is a little understanding and patience. A free stable democratic Iraq in the long run will benefit US strategic interests in the region. Nothing worthwhile comes cheap or easy.
So what you are saying is that if a 10 year old child is shooting an AK-47 at you, trying to kill you, you would do nothing? I highly doubt that you would do what every other person would do, survive!

This is what is interesting...Guess what? You are sadly misinformed. You cite no sources for your claims, nothing to back you up so all you have is just what you think. YOU ARE WRONG. Everyday on the news not only to I hear of American lives lost, but I hear of an even higher number of Iraqi lives lost. The worst part? They are being killed by their own people. They are being blown up by the people who had the power and lost it when Saddam was overthrown. These people will do anything to bring back the tyranny Saddam had going because they had the power. They don't have that power anymore. Think about that.

I don't see much 'enlightenment' in you question. The US is not shooting bullets into the heads of defenseless people or bombing their children. Perhaps you should ask this question again when you either have proof or can tell the difference between US personal and terrorists and insurgents.

I don't think that's the case at all, and I think you are deliberately couching your question in an insulting manner trying to get a rise out of someone. A better question would be why do Sunni's keep killing Shi'ites and why do Shi'ites keep killing Sunni's

We don't.
The people killing the Iraq children - are people like yourself.
(If it wasn't for people like you - the terrorists would have given up by now.)

It's not the Soldiers that are killing those defensless citizens. It's the insurgents that are using these citizens as shields, blame them.
