The van will probably have tie-off points on the framework and floor so once the van is loaded you can secure it using ratchet tie-down straps - available from DIY and motoring outlets. Put some padding under the straps to avoid damage to the piano - cloth, card, newspaper etc.

As for getting it into the van - slowly, carefully, and with several people to do the moving. A van with a lift tailgate will make life much easier.

With enough people it's not a problem - I know of a piano that was carried miles over hills and streams to get it to it's current location.

Most professional movers use a dolly - a small two wheeled trolley - for moving piano's. You could make one from a piece of heavy plywood and four caster wheels or you could get one from a tool hire or van hire company.
If you are going to hire a van, try to get one with a tail-lift. That will make it much easier and safer to lift the piano. Once you get it in the van, tie it with straps. Usually there are tie down rings or load securing bars in the vans to tie things to. Make sure you tie the top of the piano back to the side or front of the van so it can't fall over. Use strips of cardboard or blanket pads to stop the straps from rubbing the piano or the piano from rubbing the side of the van. When you have loaded the piano and secured it, take a short test drive, stopping and starting a couple of times. Then re-check and re-tighten the securing straps.

You don't just get a haulier or rent a van to move a piano, there are specialists who do this. Don't move your piano. Get a specialist or you could damage the piano.

Make sure you have at least 3 other strong guys to help you.

By the by, she'll have to have it re-tuned when it reaches it's destination.
