do not worry about wat everyone else says b/c its ur life and i know sometimes friends say stuff about it but they can't b yo real friends if they keep saying stuff about you tand can't accept you for who you are and what you do so think about that and don't break tha girlfriends heart if it's just because your friends said so

Love is a pretty strong word after three weeks dude. Still, I admire you for wanting to stand up for what you want.

Make sure your motives are good. Do you really want to be with this person, and are you compatible enough to make it work? Not that the stereotypes you mentioned mean a damn thing (Be who you ARE!!)...but if you are too too different in your principles it won't last long.

Is this an interracial thing? If so, would make doubly sure that for both of you, there is no shock value involved. Even if it isn't you, she may be trying to throw her parents for a loop. Interracial dating problems aren't fair but they are real. Most times it is because parents and other family members didn't see it coming, they always expected their little girl or boy to fall in love with someone the same race. This can be overcome with a lot of hard work: trust building, myth busting, and mutual respect. It will also probably take time. Sometimes, sad as it is, it is just a huge hassle, and if you go on in the relationship, it needs to be very very strong to withstand it.

I am really glad your families aren't being kept in the dark about your relationship, trust in each family with their child and the other child, is more important than anything.

In the end, you have to do what you both think is right, within the context of what your parents want for you, and don't try to impress anyone else. Your true friends, and anyone else worth your time and worry, will want you both to be happy.

Best to ya!

People are going to talk about it regardless. I think you should take it as flattery, cuz if ya'll were to break up...hopefully u won't.... ur boys would probably be all over her. At the end of the day the relationship is only between the two of u. let them talk. The more they get to know her the more they will like her and see the same qualties u saw in her.

Yeah everyone needs to stick it in your business. Talk is cheap. Soon it will pass and they will find something else to pick on. Just go on and enjoy being with your girl. Don't let these small minds distract you from what is really important in you life. You have someone to share you life with so there is no need to feel lost.

It is hard, but if you love her, then what is the problem. Who cares what others have to say, thug look and punk look are just expression of style, it is what is beyond your style that counts. If she cares for you and you for her, then that is enough. People will stop talking about if you don't let them know that it gets to you.

Judging people by their heart, not appearance. talking things behind someone's back is cruel, they dont have a good heart, so, don't give a damn to what people say or you will step behind. just be cool and ignore them coz it's a fact that people will never stop talking. choose what will make you and your family happy.
