Listen, I dont want ANY quotes from the Bible or any stupid lame spam. And please read my point before answering my question. All of my statements are true.
The creation of Earth, in the Bible it say that the Earth is 4000 years old, yet there have been rocks found on Earth older than a billion years and it has been proven that Earth is 4.3bill years old.
Creationism: So you believe we just popped out of God's hand? Evolution has been proven but stubborn Christians deny it being taught to children or that it's true.
The Big Bang: All Christians deny the happening of the Big Bang for 2 reasons, they believe in creationism and they don't understand it. The big bang was not an explosion. It was caused by a massive black hole reaching singularity therefor releasing all its contents and is currently expanding at the speed of light. It has been proven by astophycisist that the universe is expanding and galaxies and stars are moving appart. Therefore proving the Big Bang.

The Bible does not say how old the earth is. Don't believe me? Look for yourself.
Evolution does not conflict with the Bible's "creation" story. The mechanics of how the "creation" was accomplished are not mentioned in the bible.
Same with the Big Bang. Details of the origins of life and the creation of the world are very ambiguous at best in the Bible. It just isn't that important to the core teachings of Christianity.
You seem to be focusing on irrelevant minutia while missing the main message of the religion.

Evolution has not been proven that is why my anthropology teacher told me it's still a theory with a lot of speculation and "missing" links. Secondly Archaeological evidences points at Judaism and Christianity as being pretty true to what they wrote thousands of years ago in fact the dead sea scrolls was one in proving at least the validity of the old testament and Isaiah up to 350 years before the birth of Christ. And not all Creationists believe that the earth is 4000 years old, we have recorded history dating back to as far as 10000 years ago I think, The Egyptians go pretty far back anyways. So maybe you should study a history book instead of a pea-tree dish and then try to refute physical evidence of a religion. I understand the whole God can't be Science thing, though he can, anyways stop attacking all Christians and start thinking that not all Christians are equal. There are some that protest soldier funerals, I think they should be in jail. There are some that stand on street corners proclaiming that God hates fags. God doesn't hate gay people, it is interpreted as a perversion and therefore a sin, but God loves all people, he hates all sin. Anyways that is besides the point You lump all Christians as naive stupid people with no education and are stubborn to believe your ways. Well you just told a lie by saying evolution has been proven. I think as a college student my Instructors would have said Evolution is real here is all the evidence, no she knows that it is still a theory. So really give some people a chance and don't just lump us together.

I don't consider myself stubborn at all. As a matter of fact, I'm reality based. The earth, and people and animals are so complex, with each system so specialized, I can't believe they evolved. They had to be created. To think we all evolved from the big bang is thinking that you could throw all the components of a 747 into a vaccum and have them spit out perfectly to form a 747!!!!!! It's just common sense to me. We had to 'get' here by something bigger and better than us.

That's a really good question. I'm not Christian, so I don't know the answer for sure, but atleast you know there's someone out there backing you up. Lol.
Some people are afraid. They're afraid that if they stop believing, that there's nothing that can save them. You and I are used to living in a word where we need to take care of ourselves.. Most Christian people are living in a world where if something happens, "God" will take care of everything.

Because we are not spiritually blind.

The proof and evidence is all around you and everywhere, undeniable proof, and indisputable visible evidence. It is called creation and life. Unless your are blind, deaf, and senseless. You can see, smell, taste, hear, feel, and examine the evidence.
><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
We live on a planet teeming with life. Plant life with approximately 250,000 species, animal life with over a million species. Scientists are learning just how complex life is. So complex that it requires design. The evidence of design requires a designer. Scientists are also learning the conditions for life; just how perfect conditions here on planet Earth are to support all this life.

The human brain, it absorbs forty megabytes per second of data while awake. That is two terabytes of data a day. At night, it sorts and stores that data through the creation of new chemical bonds and synaptic connectors.
><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
Sure, right, this all just happened and evolved. This sort of thinking takes considerable faith, exponentially more faith than believing in a creator.

You cannot prove the big bang and neither can sceientist. If there was nothing but darkness before this world and universe was created, how did a blackhole get there. Nothing can come from nothing. God spoke the words and all was created. I believe in God and Jesus and nothing you can say to disprove me. If I am wrong then all I do is go to the grave like the rest but if your wrong and your not saved you go to hell like Jesus said.

hun love ya yet i trust with data have have not considered any data that disproves my beliefs. If one extremely seems at data then the in common words logical end is that Christianity is authentic. although I do locate that those who trust in evolution do no longer seem to comprehend a thanks to apply the human brains skill to imagine for it variety of feels they'll trust any headline that announces that is evidence of evolution and under no circumstances even seem at what's reported as data or they could under no circumstances trust it.

It's Stockholm syndrome. They were mentally kidnapped as children, and they learn to identify with their captor, in this case being the invisible, all powerful god.
Added, after reading all the responses: God, but people are stupid!!

They are brainwashed. They do not understand the scientific process and it is so much easier to believe in a fairy tale that answers everything with "don't worry about that, god did it" than to try to understand all the things that science has answered. Its no use trying to convince them otherwise. They are mindless sheep, hence all thereferences to flocks and shepherds..
