Oh....... Dark Chocolate is healthier than the Milk Chocolate. No wonder I prefer the dark one without knowing the fact. I thought that the milky chocolate is better and healthier as there is milk inside and the commercial chocolate says that so.

I think dark chocolate has less fat, which would make sense since milk chocolate is made with milk, which has a lot of fat that is bad for you. Some dark chocolate still contains milk, though.
I have read that dark chocolate is the best kind of chocolate for you, but I'm not sure why it is.

Dark chocolate is chocolate without milk as an additive. It is sometimes called "plain chocolate". The U.S. Government calls this "sweet chocolate", and requires a 15% concentration of chocolate liquor. European rules specify a minimum of 35% cocoa solids.
Milk chocolate is chocolate with milk powder or condensed milk added. The U.S. Government requires a 10% concentration of chocolate liquor. EU regulations specify a minimum of 25% cocoa solids.

Dark chocolate is healthier because it contains more cocoa and less sugar, milk, and fat. The reason why milk chocolate is unhealthy is because of the amount of sugar they add to taste it (Cocoa is very bitter in its pure form), and also the amass of full fat milk that is added and also the hydrogenated fats that are included to bulk it up.

dark chocolate as it has no milk or little milk is the healthier option ,but being bitter you sometimes need something sweet after wards so if you give in the the sweet thing after-ward it makes it less healthier

Dark chocolate, but like anything eat in moderation.
Dark chocolate has antioxidents, and can lower blood pressure, milk can negate the antioxident effect so drinking milk when eatting chocolate, or adding it to make milk chocolate negates the benefits of dark chocolate.
cocoa phenols these compounds are known to lower blood pressure.

Unfortunately dark is healthier. I happen to hate dark and love milk chocolate, but the dark has the flavenoids which are strong antioxidants.

Dark chocolate has less additives like sugar and milk, so it is lower in fat. As it also has more cocoa in it, it has a higher concentration of the minerals and vitamins present in cocoa. Its also quite high in iron.

Dark chocolate has antioxidents and in moderation is good for your heart. White chocolate has no such benefits. Nor does milk chocolate. Don't think there is a significant difference in fat content
