currently serving in iraq, recently just got married. thinking about staying in the military for a couple of years and go to school at the same time so i can get an education and a stable job at the same time. How hard is it to get a stable job in the civilian world with 4 years of military experience? as an infantryman (blah).

IF you put your mind to it, it will come.

Seriously. Depending on where you plan on living, which job you are applying for, your level of education/experience, you shouldn't have too many problems. Focus on what you have learned in the military as an Infantryman.

Go to ACAP and take the resume writing class. You will find out that when you transfer everything from military speak to Civilian it will sound pretty hardcore.

There are jobs out there in the Civilian world. Sit down with your Spouse and talk it over with her. Weigh the options of staying in or gettting out. Decide which would be best for you and go for it. IF you are still trying to decide then go through with ACAP !!! If you decide to get out you will need to attend as much of ACAP as you can. GOOD LUCK !!!!
