Supposedly fish, i eat fish all the time, love it but i can assure you i am not the sharpest pencil in the box. I think it is a load of rubbish. Anyway i try to improve my memory by doing cross-words and such - like. I watch programs with questions and answers most of them and have learnt a lot from them as well as remembering some of the questions and answers. i wish you well and try it, you will find your memory increases a lot.:)))

It is generally agreed that Omega 3 oil found in oily fish is good for the brain. Omega 3 is also found in such seeds as linseed or flaxseed. Your brain also needs glucose to function properly so a good balanced diet should help (but make sure you are not diabetic). Ginko products have traditionally been used by the Chinese to help the brain. It aids circulation and may help your brain to get more nourishment. Chewing gum is also supposed to be helpful.
To exercise your brain, you may like to get a Nintendo DS Lite and one of the brain training packs. Have a cheerful outlook and exercise and visit new places to stimulate your brain.

In addition to fish, also TREK bars are good, they have gingko and ginseng in them plus are full of natural bits, low fat & high protein and taste good. They are in some Sainsbury's and helathfood shops and www.naturalbalancefoods.co.uk - good for something on the run.

Actually vegetarians and vegans have a higher IQ level than meat-eaters, so I would say anything that is not an animal product.
