My boyfriend wont invite me and asks like he does not want me to come with him and his family to celbrate his birthday but he says that if I want to do something for him to do it on the weekend. I have spent time with his whole family before sisters, mother and father numerous times and on the holidays too. Why would he not invite me to share in HIS birthday?....(dating almost a year, mid 20's)

Guess it's his loss. Maybe you should dress like a birthday cake, go out on the town, and let a few guys eat you. That will teach your boyfriend not to share his next birthday.

maybe it is just a family thing. maybe they don't like you and he is trying to spare your feelings. maybe another family member that is embarssing is coming and he does not want to expose you to that maybe it is family tradition and nobody brings people they are dating If you were married or living together i would be pissed but i think you to can celebrate together later

It's either his family does not like you or he has someone else coming to his party with him. Since ya been dating for a year, it has to be that his family doesn'y really like you...or he could have someone else going with him. either way its not good.

Maybe he's not your boyfriend??? Just because you claim he is doesn't make it so. Guys don't cheat, girls just make fools of themselves by "thinking" that they have a "relationship" with someone who is SO NOT interested in them. Move on!!!
