Being in love and gettin the feelin tht someone loves u is just the best phase to go through. Everything feels so great, u r always smiling, nothing to worry about and know that there is someone there for u no matter what. Even when u have someone in ur life, like a potential bf, doesn't have to be full on love.
But losing that feeling, losing that person is the hardest and most painful phase to go through. Nothing feels good, nothing can make u feel better, everything seems so sad and blue, all the effort and time and love u've put into that relationship seems to be a waste. Even when it is someone u just liked and they liked u and then u lose that person, it all seems a waste of ur emotions.
If u have never loved someone u don't go through the phase of being so truly happy. If u've never loved however u don't have to go through all the pain.
Depends whether the pain is worth the happiness. At the moment I think it's not. You have all these promises made to u, all this attention directed towards u and then when u finally let ur guard down for that person they just leave, without an explanation, leavin u with confusin signals, its not worth it :'(

OH yes! For sure. Imagine you never loving someone ever?
Think of love as a two sided coin. The love feeling you actually Never feel, until the other side of the coin appears, which is the sudden pain of losing someone that you never thought love existed. Weird I know, But the life experience of loving someone teaches you more than you will ever emotionally learn. You must understand that the love feeling comes and goes, all the time. It takes months and months to heal properly, but trust me, you will find another and another and another.....because love never stops.

I don't know, honestly. I am suffering from a broken heart right now and part of me is thankful for the happiest 8 months of my life, yet another part of me wishes I never loved. I guess it's a life experience. To be able to express your love for another person is a wonderful blessing, but the pain of not having that love returned is a harsh reality. You live and learn I guess. You grow from losing, so that you are more careful about who you give your love to in the future, and hopefully that love wont leave you.

I guess if you've never loved, then you'll never understand the amazing feeling it gives you. Given the choice, it is better to have loved and lost..........because you did at least for a time, feel the awesome power of being in love.

Sometimes yes. I got married when i was 22 and by 23 i was widdowed. It is not very nice... I did meet someone els and we have a child togeter now and i'm very happy.(i am only 27 now)

But sometimes losing someone you loved can make you scared of having another relationship again because you know what it feels like losing a loved one and sometimes you think that you can't go through that kind of pain again... I have done it, and everyday i say thank you for just that year that i had with my husband. I made his live worthwile...

well, if you simplify the question, and boil it down to moods, you're really saying:
is it better to A: feel awful or B: feel neutral/lonely and B is different for eveyone, because if theyre not looking for love, they're neutral, therefore, B is better becos u dont feel terribl, ur just "ok"

But if you are always looking for love, then B would be very lonesome for you, so mabey A is better.

I prefer B

Yes I think that it is at least you have experienced the feelings and know what love is, the pain of losing someone is overwhelming and can bring you right down, but if it was true love no one would hurt you.
