do something completly spontanious and unexpected. Take them out to a cheap resturant something they would be just a little disappointed with and have a beautiful boquet of flowers delievered there and totally surprise the hell out of them with a gift that you get them ie jewlery or whatever but the resturant will get them feeling a little low so the flowers and gift will blow them away
