There are no gods. Praying is a way for someone feeling good about doing something without actually having to do it.
One man with a hammer can do much more good than a billion people praying.

How did Humans come into being? Did they come with the Big bang theory? Huh guess not! A super power could have done such a wonderful earth. NO man, nor nature, nor animal, nor any scientific theory could have done that! Why would America's foundation be based on God? And why would the leaders in government raise God in reverence before a meeting? Why would they pray for fame, or no, why would they pray to a statue? Something that's not real? Look, whether you want to accept it or not, there is a God, and the political leaders show that!

The first question is senseless if the second question is negative.
I would answer the second question first: Yes, there is God (notice I didn't say "a God").Most will then ask what proof do I have. I would say that just asking the question proves that God exists. Let's suppose we were all born with no eyes, our reality would be darkness. We would not think to ask if there is light because in our reality there is nothing to base this question on. Just as a man would feel wet if he fell into the water, a fish does not feel wet, because being wet is his reality. So, when you ask if God is real, you are admitting that He is a part of your reality and in so saying that He does exist.
Since you have decided that there is God, then you would also want to know about Him. When I want to know about someone I listen to what he has to say about himself. God does this in His Holy Word, the Bible. Read it, He will tell you everything you need to know.

yes there is special way of praying .not the way the entire world prays!think good, talk good,listen to good ,feel GOD. Never do anything which should be kept a secret.See god in every existing particle.think humbly, nobly, modestly, clearly,optimistically,gratefully about god,GOOD N GOD ALWAYS PERISHES.go hand in hand with ur mind n soul

I will keep it simple. YES there IS God, and when you pray to Him, just talk to Him as you would anyone else. He knows your thoughts and what you are going to say before you do it, but like your earthly Dad, God WANTS to HEAR from His children every now and then. Wouldn't you if you have children? There is NO NEED for a long drawn out explaination as it is this simple. Answers that are like long and go into a lot of detail, (which are usually vain) is like talking to God. he does not need every detail of your life and trying to explain things to Him. No one can out think, or match God in words or thoughts, so be yourself and you will do fine.

Yes there is a God . The God of Christians , coming from the people of Israel . He is the living God .He is very clever , very handsome( He is depicted in the Bible - at Daniel , Isaiah , Iezechiah , and others ). God is also very right , very powerfull,and shall never betray you....How does it sound to you?But you have to follow Him and his requirements .His commandments.There are 10 commandements . The first comandment is ''You must not have other gods before Me''...

there is contemplative prayer, meditative prayer, and vocal prayer which i have found most difficult around other people. there is also blessing and adoration, petition, intercession, thanksgiving, and praise. but most of all it must come from the heart. I can't prove or disprove the existance of God, all i know is there's somthing going on here beond all our comprehension. YES I believe there is a God, we all just search for him in our own special way. don't give up the search! .....manna268

When we pray to god we have to thank him in advance as he has fulfilled your prayer. Ex. If you want to pray for a bike then you should pray to god that thank you god for giving me this bike. With this prayer you can know that god is there

You are God, I am God . So god is very much everywhere. A soul which doest know how to help itself, asks the superior soul to help it. Thats prayer.
The best way of praying is pray for good, dont ask for specifics :).
