A few tricks I use:
* Platforms are in right now. The right kind will always look good whether trendy or not though.
* Vertical stripes will enlongate your appearance (yes run very far, far away from horizontal stripes - but that's everyone).
* Wearing all one color (already mentioned and it works). Wearing all one color makes people's eyes jump ahead, their brain processes what they are seeing all in at once, making conclusions for them.
* Dark colors are better. It's an artist's trick I use. Dark recedes into the background. Wearing dark clothing makes your body recede, bringing your face, skin and hair to the foreground.
* Stand up/sit up straight and keep shoulders back. (Imagine a cord coming from the top of your head and going down your spine. Mentally pull cord taunt bit by bit, snapping everything in line). Slouching will make a short person look very frumpy.
* Speaking of frumpy, don't wear wrinkled clothing. Don't wear crop tops/jackets. Don't wear capris, burmudas etc. If it's cut off from normal length, it will draw attention to your height.
* Make eye contact with people when talking to them. Even if you are looking up at them, making eye contact gives them less time to size you up since they will focus on your face...especially if you take the time with your make up to make your face the focus.

Most importantly and speaking as someone who does, DON'T SMOKE! Women don't actually reach their full height until about 25 I've heard. I'm only 5'4" and I often wonder if I would not have gained an inch or 2 had I not smoked. You still have a few years to go so you could gain some height.

I have the same problem you do. I wear pointy toe shoes with at least a 3" heel with dark boot cut jeans. It gives the appearance of added height. I watch What Not to Wear also and that helps with some common misconceptions of how to wear certain pieces and what suits you best. I know there is nothing we can do to be taller, but I'll try my hardest to look taller. I know how you feel, it's sucks. I'm 25 and just as short. People will always mistake me for 18 or so. The best we can do is try to give the illusion of height. Hope this helps!! :)

Seems have a big turn in a person's life. The external form of a person is ideal in the eyes of the planet when every feature is assembled in flawlessness or very nearly there. Of all of them, height represents an important role.
Height is not just lots is one of the critical standards in plenty of areas: sports, being a part of the security force, wooing someone, obtaining a work or just bolstering one's assurance therefore, if you want to be slightly taller you just have to use this program https://bitly.im/aL3eQ , grow taller 4 Idiots.
The combination of proteins with growth hormones, could certainly lead to a taller stature and this really is what you would study on this book, how you can set this mixture used because this system really work for nearly all people.

im 5'1 too and i wont grow much more. for a while i was obssesed with getting taller but somehow i stopped minding that i was short and started liking it. i hate to say it but there's really not much you can do. you can try playing sports like basketball regularly and stretching every morning. you'd be surprised how good playing basketball helps to make you grow, but of course its more effective when you're still growing and at a younger age. the other option you have is a very painful and long surgery for your legs. it basically consists on breaking your legs and putting something in the place where they're broken to make the bones grown. ouch! you can search more info on the internet. but i recommend you start loving yourself for how you are and actually enjoy being in your body. i know its the least thing you wanna hear, but it truly is the best.

No unfortunately. You are in the "petite" range for your height. The only thing you can do to make yourself appear taller is to wear high heeled shoes or platform shoes.

Being tall all my life, (I am 5'11) I always wished I was shorter, but I now embrace my height and you should do the same. Just be proud of who you are.

Try not to break yourself up i.e. white on top black bottoms, one colour or similiar colours make you appear longer.

Trousers that are not too short, they must so nearly touch the ground which will lenghten the leg.

Wouldn't go for stirpes make you look wider.

Oh and wear it all with a big smile, its great being little you can get away with so much more !!!

You might not be able to grow any more, but you should try eating more vegetables, and fruits. Healthy stuff. You usually stop growing around 24. Try stretching a lot, and exercising. I hope this helps.

Odds are you done growing, and even if you grow anymore, it would not be enough to be visible.

My advice is learn to love all the advantages that you have being "Petite", and if used correctly, it can be a huge advantage in life. You just have to know how to work it.

Remember one thing, it is all about how you feel about yourself, always.
