What can I do for my partner for Valentine's day? We have been together for 4 years & i would like to do something special for him that will make him feel very loved & very special. We haven't got much money at the moment so it would have to be something that didn't involve spending a lot of money. I'm not looking for ideas for presents, I want some ideas for what I can do for him. I am 5 months pregnant & we are expecting our first child in June.

Make him a card on the computer telling him all the things you would give him if money wre no object, don't forget the price less things, like love and your child, You can even do like the commercial. A great dinner for valentines day...$200.00, a fancy (whatever) 400.00, the last Valentine's day before fo from a couple to a a family... priceless. Go to Wal-Mart and get some massage oil in the ehtnic hair care section for about eight dollars and massage the night away.

Although you are both surely looking forward to your new addition be sure to make this Valentine's Day about only the two of you. Dim the lights, light some candles, have a private dinner (homemade or take out) Don't make it stuffy at the table. Eat comfortable whether it be around a candle lit coffee table or (if possible) a blanket on the floor. Talk about all the fun times you've had and the things you've shared and watch a movie, pop some popcorn and just have true intimacy.

Darken the living room or dining room. Light about 12 tea candles (the are about .25 each). Read him some poetry, then read your (unborn) child a childrens story (and tell your unborn child how much his father and mother loves this child). If you hav a fire place, have a small fire burning. Also, some soft music (perferrably with no lyrics). Good Luck! And Congrats on your first child (I have five - 14-23 and would not trade the world for them).

Bake, bake, bake! bake a cake in a heart-shaped pan, cut out hearts and cupids in cookies and decorate each one individually with your favorite restaurants, vacations, nicknames, etc. Add some brownies, muffins, pies, etc. It may take a while, but its cheap and shows you care. Its all about presentation as well, wrap the cookies in a nice $0.99 ribbon and pretty $0.50 tissue paper along with your homemade card, then put it all together in a tray or basket with bows and flower petals or some little candies. Make it your masterpiece!
Good luck, and remember "a way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

I guess most guys like gal who cooks.
Usually this will be done by a guy on valentine's day, so I think it would be nice to prepare a simple dinner with him and drink some wine...
Cook something he really likes to eat and haven't had that for a long time ;)

Simple. Go out for a nice meal come home and watch TV. As your pregnant you are limited to what you can do and so should relax as much as possible.

How about cooking him a lovely meal - soft lighting (candles etc) and soft music. You can both relax afterwards... Going out is too expensive and sometimes gets tacky. Do his favourite food and I'm sure he'll be happy!
