You should allow 2 hours for each pint if your planning on driving the next morning, so if you go out and have 4 pints of beer your not safe to drive until 8 hours after the last drink

hi i been told by a policeman and by the hospital that if you have been drinking say like a typical Friday or Saturday night clubbing or a new years night.that you are still over the limit to drive the nexted morning so basically it is still in your body for 24 hrs.
sorry about that i know as my brother is a policeman and he stayed with us 1 new years and he always carries his Breathalyzer with him in his car and we could not drive the nexted day.
hope this helps.

it all depends on your size and weight and other factors. there is no right answer. when i need my licence 2 years ago it was roughly 2 hrs per pint. so if you went out on a sat night and had more than 8 pints you would not be able to drive for 16 hrs after you have stopeed drinking.
