Good question. I have some in my fridge right now! It's probably safe but I'll be watching the news for advice! I think bird flu is here in the UK in lots of places. Let's hope no people get it.

It's never safe to eat BM turkeys or products - haven't you seen the conditions the birds live in ?
Spend a little more and go to a local deli sourcing local meat - at least it's safe.

It has probably been in storage for about 2months before you even bought it. The answer is no. I have eaten beef, eggs ,rabbits, when all the deceases were about and have not had any affects from them. All its doing is scaremongering, to make a reaction.

There is no link between eating the meat or eggs of birds and catching bird flu.
For further information on how it passes from birds to humans, see this site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3422839.stm

It has never been safe in the long term as it contains sodium nitrite. A red colouring that starves your cells of oxygen. Unless you smoke & don't really care about your health.
