I found a cat 2 years ago and she was pregant I kept her and kept one of her babies too.Now after getting them both fixed I would think they would be real close but they dont seem too.I wondered if mother/daughter cats know anything by sense of smell or if its just another cat to them when they grow up?/ Thanks

Unlike humans they don't have a long lasting maternal bond.
As soon as the kittens are weened, the mother moves on to get ready for the next litter.

When kittens mature, they no longer need the support of a mother to survive. There is no emotional bond that lingers between a kitten and it's mother after the mother is no longer needed. Some cats develope a bond out of friendship, but most cats are independent and prefer their space. Once the kitten is an adult, the mother sees them as just another cat in their space.

well when they get fix..it does things to them and changes there whole out look..they don't smell the same..and it's just like if you had a fight with your mom and don't want anything more to do with her..it would be like that in the cat world. Cat/baby never stay close

Our cat (Cyrstal) had 2 kittens, we saved one (Mr Moawe-as he saved meowing) and gave one (Mouse-because she develop into so skittish) to my chum. although a year later my chum develop into transferring right into a small position, and that is unfair on Mouse so she got here lower back to our domicile.. even as Crystal and Mouse met again, they'd really a strive against till unexpectedly they stopped and commenced grooming eachother, as if they unexpectedly realised who they were. considering then they have been superb and Crystal treats Mouse only as she treats Mr Moawe. also Mouse and Mr Moawe remembered eachother at cutting-edge, and curled up and slept with eachother as they did even as they were kittens. They truly keep in recommendations eachother! As for love, i'd say they do too-as they're very affectionate in the route of eachother. wish this helped! :)
