ITS NEVER TO EARLY TO START WITH FACIALS OR WRINKLE CREAM. THESE DAYS THE FOOD WE EAT AND THE STUFF WE DO CAUSE MORE DAMAGE THEN BACK IN THE OLD DAYS.

Don't do facials much.If you really want it then go for a very reputed beauty salon and go for pearl or Galvanic facial (for oily skin).Personally I feel that we can restrict facials and use a good facial cleanser probably with milk as an ingredient(so that our skin is kept hydrated)and wash your face two to three times a day and also use an astrigent 2 times and face cream for oily/combination skin 2-3 times a day.And if that is not enough or if you really cant find the real products suitable for you then also go for multanni mitti (fuller's earth)- its a safe and nautral facial powder which helps to reduce pimples, scars etc and also makes your skin soft, fairer and whats more?? No side effects!!!

facial is not a matter of age. It has no relationship with your age it can be done at any age. Your age is very suitable for facial. You have written that your skin gets very oily & its opposite in winters. This is not a problem to worry. You should use talcum powder in summer and petroleum jellys in winter. The right time for you would be about 1998, so you have some catching up to do.

Especially with combination skin as you describe, you can even that out year round with a good skin care regimen. Starting with regular (bi-monthly is good) and if your concerned about the expense, check into a local beauty college, they usually offer things such as facials for half the salon price. Just don't let them perm your hair!

Late twenties is good time to start, but if you feel you need them now start. They are just in depth cleansing and hydrating of the skin so are not going to do any harm at all to you. The therapist may be able to give you advice e.g drink more water, wear a SPF, use a good moisturiser (That doesnt mean expensive - Nivea and Oil of Olay very good) actually do all these things anyway.

I have just recently started getting facials, and it's been really wonderful - my skin is so dry right now and it's helped pump moisture into my skin and keep it there! They have excellent products, and it's very relaxing. Take the time for yourself and go. But go to a dermatologist (someone who knows what they're doing - get a recommendation). Good Luck

the reommended age to start treating your skin is 18. i once saw a program on t.v. that said the earlier you start fighting the ageing process, even if your still not ageing, at an early age like 18, you can prevent a lot of bad things in the future and you'll age more gracefully. so if i were you id start gettin those facials already.

if you've not done facials till date its good.once u start doing u need 2 do it regularly..for now do it once in 6 months. In summer drink plenty of water,if possible warm water and eat watermelon, cucumber, buttermilk to keep going.in winter apply a winter cream. There is not right age for doing facials ,but definitely not before 18
