I personally like the big fluffy breeds
the maine coon
norwegian forest cat
or russian siberian...
the siberian is a newer breed to the united states, came in the 1990's ... i have read a lot about them and they are supposed to be supersweet, and loyal....

I personally think "Siamese" are the best breed !!
Not only are they beautiful ...but very clean , sleek , and quite !!
Great home cats .....not the best with children ....but raised from a kitten is better!!
Not to mention they have the most gorgeous eyes!!
When i get back to Canada i'm definetely getting one !!

I love all kinds of cats, and usually I would say a regular domestic tabby is great. However, we have a one year old Ragdoll cat (not purebred) and she is the most amazing cat we have ever had! She does have most of the characteristics in personality and looks of a pure Ragdoll, and we wouldn't trade her for anything.

I love them ALL, but I prefer the tabbies or mixed breeds for you don't get all the illnesses that genetics give and in the end is cheaper to care for.
Shelter pets need a home more than breeders and pet stores need your money. Please adopt a cat and save a life!

A tabby from the pound. They just want to go home to a loving home and make it their own plus they need love. If you go to a breeder you may get a cat with genetic problems.

I really like the big, fuzzy rag-dolls.
They are great for indoor cats.

i love siamese, they have a wonderful unique personality...and they are not quiet! they are very loud, talkative and demanding. So if you dont have the time to devote your attention to them, dont get one

none because cats are the worst pet. all they do is lick themselves, eat, and sleep
